The Problem

For this poster, our class was given very few restrictions. We could use as many ink colors as we wanted to convey our idea on this large show poster.

The Solution

I focused on creating a softer illustration in order to fit the magic of the play. I used an elegant script font that curved behind the figure’s head, and I added sparkles to convey a sense of magic. I allowed the figure’s dress to become a part of the backdrop for the remaining text, which divided the information in the poster. I constructed a subtle and magical poster to invite viewers into the world of the play.
