The Problem

Our class was challenged to create a brand identity system for any restaurant we could imagine. The brand needed to have a logomark, logotype, brand colors and fonts, collateral, stationery, and a business system. It also needed to function as one clear, cohesive unit.

The Solution

I created Cozies Cafe, a home away from home. Cozies Cafe features a logotype with a customized, rounded font and energetic lockup. I use a monochrome green palette and rounded patterns to add to the brand’s sense of comfort. Using different values, I create playful typography that exists in layers while remaining readable. Cozies Cafe showcases the energy that creative typography and crisp lines can bring to a brand.
