Social Media - Mott’s

A social media slideshow for Mott’s Apple Juice, showcasing the joy it can bring to consumers.

The Problem

I was challenged to create a three-slide social media advertisement. The slides needed to function as one unit that could encourage viewers to keep swiping to find the rest of the story.

The Solution

I pulled both stock images and images found on the Mott’s website to create a photo-focused advertisement that told a story. I used a rounded frame to guide the viewer’s eye, and I allowed photos to cross the boundaries between panels so that viewers would be encouraged to continue looking through the panels. I also allowed the language to imply that the sentence wasn’t over on the first panel. I used a playful slab serif to create type lockups. I let the type echo into the background and interact with the images to make a more playful composition. This social media advertisement creates a feeling of joy and encourages viewers to enjoy the product as well.
